I am using Uberoid v10.1

Autoload software that is loaded from My Modem HUAWEI is not compatible with ANDROID UBEROID Roms. So i cannot use my MODEM HUAWEI e153 and e1552 for my Tablet.

The solution to make modem compatible with Uberoid and other roms is:
-Disable flashdrive.

here are the steps:

AT COMMAND For HUAWEI Modem:
DISABLE :
at^u2diag=256
If your modem answers ERROR, instead you can use command:
at^u2diag=0
Unfortunately this command will also disable the microSD-drive.
To revive the flashdrive and the microSD-drive execute:
at^u2diag=255

Disable/enable flashdrive for ZTE Modem:
DISABLE code: AT+ZCDRUN=8
ENABLE code : AT+ZCDRUN=9

This is Tutorial how to do that:
-If You using WINXP use menu: "Hyper Terminal"
(It can be found at Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Communications -> HyperTerminal.)
-If Win7 - Vista use tera term : http://en.sourceforge.jp/projects/ttssh2/downloads/53081/teraterm-4.71.exe/

USING WINXP with Hyperterminal:
1. Launch Hyperterminal : It can be found at Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Communications -> HyperTerminal.
2. In the Connection Description dialog box, enter a name and choose an icon you like for the connection. Then click the OK button. , the important is "connect using" choose your modem. Then click OK.
3.After that if you look main window "hyperterminal is show up you can paste the AT command there, like this code:
at^u2diag=256

if working properly then it should word : OK

Now you can try again your MODEM on uberoid tablet.
Dont forget to configure APN at you tablet.

Note :
-auto load modem will be not working anymore if you plug on windows. you must copy driver, software, etc from your modem before disable.

  3. Tutorial when using Tera Term

    Step 1. Install Tera Term
Step 2. Plug in your USB Modem
    Step 3. Run Tera Term
Step 4. Choose "File -> New Connection" or press ALT + N
Step 5. Choose "Serial" and select "Your USB Device Com Port" and press OK
Step 6. Choose "Control -> Broadcast Command"
Step 7. In the new BroadCast Command window select your device's com port and type your AT command in the empty box and click Submit.
